安大略省的最低工资此前为14.25元。从1月1日起，该省将最低工资提高到15元。

每周工作少于28小时的18岁以下学生的工资将从每小时13.10元涨至每小时14.10元。
最新政策还将提高酒类服务员的工资。以前，该省的酒类服务员最低工资仅为12.55元。最新增长将使他们的工资提高到每小时15元。
因此，从事全职最低工资工作的普通人每年可以多赚 1,350 美元。预计这一增长将影响大约 760,000 名工人的工资。
